A UMass Boston student email account is created
for all students a few days after their WISER account is created.
You can find your UMB e-mail address within your WISER student profile,
as well as the other e-mail addresses you provided when you registered.
All students are required to use the campus e-mail address for all
university communication.
To access your student email, go to http://webmail.umb.edu.
Your e-mail user name will be in the following format: firstname.lastname###.
For example, the email address alice.jones001@umb.edu user name:
alice.jones001.
Just like your initial WISER self-service password, your e-mail
password is the first two letters of your last name (capitalize
the first letter only) followed by your birth date in MMDDYYYY format.

Students registered in online classes can expect to receive emails
periodically from your instructor, from support@umassonline.net,
bostonsupport@umassonline.net and DO_NOT_REPLY@umassonline.net,
for those who have email forwarding enabled. If you have spam blocking
enabled on your email client - please be sure to disable it or include
these addresses to your safe senders list.
